Primary 3 children enjoyed exploring the theme of British Science Week Curiosity: What's your question? We linked this to our World Around Us topic of Space investigating how rockets fly.
Children explored Newtons Law Motion Theory and the forces that affect flight. We made adjustments to different variables e.g. straw length to see if it would affect the distance, we investigated the difference between indoors and outdoors and how wind could help or hinder flight.
Children thoroughly enjoyed making their own space rocket and are looking forward to more investigations throughout the week.
