Breakfast Club is open from 8.30am - Monday to Friday

 

Many activities take place out of normal school hours.  These have included football, camogie, hurling, basketball, Jo Jingles, Drama bugs, Cycling, Guitar, Irish and Gardening Clubs.  The variety and details of these will change from time to time depending on the expertise and interest in individual members of staff and the availability of the activity generally. 

The school has, again, been given funding this year 2018/19 for Extended Schools.  This allows for a more varied timetable of activities.  P1 / P2 pupils are invited to stay from 2-3pm for a variety of Clubs throughout the year, such as, Gaelic Football, basketball, Jo Jingles, Dramabugs, Irish, rebound, Gardening etc. This is further extended for P3-P7 to include an ICT Club, Literacy/ Numeracy Club, Tin Whistle and many more. 

We also offer P1/2 children Afterschool Club from 2-3pm Monday to Friday for those with siblings in P3-7.

Through our Extended Schools Cluster, we are targeting Numeracy and Literacy and the involvement of parents in their child/ren’s education in literacy and Numeracy.  We run clubs in Reading Partnership and Parents Involved in Numeracy to name a few.
