Last night in Owenbeg, St Canice’s Feeny boys proudly represented our school, club and parish in the All County Division 2 Football semi-final against Moneyneena on a very warm evening. The lads delivered an excellent performance, securing a comfortable 6-point victory to book their place in the final.
Up next was a repeat of the North Derry Championship final against Glenullin, who had previously beaten us by 8 points. This time, however, it was a completely different story. In a gripping, end-to-end contest, the teams went score for score. Our boys showed incredible passion and bravery throughout. Level at half-time, it all came down to the final moments—St Canice’s, Feeny edged ahead to win by a single point and claim the All County Division 2 Football Championship for the second year in a row!
This victory marks the end of a truly special week for the team, as they completed an incredible Double Double:
