As you all know we are fundraising to turn our mobile into an ICT suite. We have raised a massive £5331 so far!! So thank you so much for supporting us, we really appreciate it. We had previously hoped to fundraise for an outdoor classroom as well but unfortunately the PTA were turned down by Big Lottery Funding which we had hoped would have paid for computers.
Our priority for the children, at the moment, is the ICT suite which we feel would benefit all the children at our school.
So far we have spent £361.57 on an asbestos check & £992.27 on installing 8 powerpoints in the mobile.
This leaves us with £3997.16.
Kieran Stevenson for Stevenson’s Kitchens is kindly donating some worktop and Marty will fit this for the school. A big thank you to them both!
Our money will go to fund raise for 15 C2k laptops presently priced at £659 each (this may sound expensive but the computers need to work on our C2k system) plus an Interactive Whiteboard for the mobile. We will also soon be requiring a new Interactive Whiteboard for the P6/7 classroom so we would love to fundraise for this also.
In total we would need £9885 for laptops & £4878 for 2 IWBs
A total of £14,763.
Next Steps! We will continue to fundraise and we will order some laptops with the money we have raised.
We are also very grateful to our parents for providing outdoor play resources in our forest area from our appeal. The children have already utilised this area for their play based & activity based learning. Thank you so much for your help!
