Updated Arrangements for P1,2&3

14th Mar 2021

Education Minister Peter Weir has confirmed that Primary 1, 2 and 3 pupils will continue to be provided with full-time face-to-face teaching until the planned Easter holidays. Our P1-3 pupils will therefore continue to attend school until Tuesday 30th March. Pupils in P4-7 will continue to receive remote learning. Easter holidays for all pupils will be from Wednesday 31st March to Friday 9th April inclusive.

Mr Weir also stated in his letter dated 12 March that, "The Executive continue to prioritise education in their decision making, and I remain convinced that schools are the best place for children, and face-to-face teaching is the best way of learning for children and young people. That is why I will be pressing the Executive next Tuesday for a further relaxation of restrictions and seeking the return of all pupils including P4–P7 and Years 8–11, or confirmation of a timescale when we can expect a return for these years."

We look forward to the time when all our pupils will be back in school and again thank parents of P4-7 pupils who continue to do an amazing job!

More information will follow as we get it.
