Our Primary 2 and Primary 3 class had a fantastic time celebrating World Book Day! 📚✨
The children took part in a range of fun fairy tale–themed activities throughout the day. They enjoyed talking and listening tasks, colouring activities, and a lively Guess the Character Headbanz game. We also had a lovely book swap, giving everyone the chance to discover a new story.
During ICT, the class used JIT paint tools to create their favourite characters, while others built fairy tale scenes and buildings using Lego. The creativity continued with playdough, as the children sculpted their favourite story characters.
It was an enjoyable day promoting a love of reading! 🌟📖
